She has developed advanced illustration skills under the mentorship of graduates from Kyoto Seika University — the world’s only university dedicated exclusively to manga studies.
A proud graduate and Dux of Visual Communication Design at Haileybury, Australia’s top co-educational private school, Liah achieved a Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) Honour Roll distinction with an outstanding mark of 43 in 2022
Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Design (Animation and Interactive Media) at RMIT University, ranked #1 in Australia and New Zealand and #8 globally for animation, Liah represents her peers on the Student Staff Consultative Committee (SSCC), advocating for creative excellence and student engagement.
With a strong foundation in both traditional and digital art techniques, from character design to digital colouring and composition, Liah helps students build confidence in their art and develop their own drawing style. Her goal is to make anime and manga drawing accessible, beginner-friendly, and inspiring for creators of all ages.
Liah is also studying Japanese language in Melbourne to prepare for her dream of completing a Master’s in Manga at Kyoto Seika University.
